SpotOn allows targeting in number of ways to increase effectiveness of your campaign. Targeting is done on the basis of location, demography, category and context.
Q.4: How various targeting options can help to increase effectiveness of my campaign?
- Category targeting: Publishers publish content under various categories such as News, Cricket, Health, Astro, Finance, etc. Depending upon your target group profile you can pick category most relevant for your product.
- Contextual targeting: It refers to targeting ads on the basis of the content of the p2p text messages, thus making it contextual e.g. “I am travelling a lot these days” could be the content of the text and the relevant word chosen maybe “Travelling”. This could mean that if you are essentially in the travel business e.g. online booking of air/train /bus tickets, hotel bookings , car rentals ,holiday packages , you could choose to advertise against the keyword “Travel” OR “Travelling”, thus making it a perfect fit for the end user / subscriber who reads the content of the SMS with your Ad.
- Location based targeting : Users based in a particular location/ Circle could be targeted specific to the campaign requirements

Q.5: How can I join SpotOn network and what do I need to pay to join it?
You can join our network free of any cost by completing the form online, and your registration will be pending subject to approval by team of SpotOn.
Q.6: Can I join your network even without having any campaign?
You are most welcome to join our network as an advertiser even without having any campaign in hand. Also it would be our pleasure to take up all your queries regarding SMS marketing through SpotOn.
Q.7: How I need to make payments for a campaign executed with you?
We will generate an Invoice at the end of the campaign post which payments can be made from your end.
Q.8: How will I come to know about number of impressions served?
Our publishers will raise MIS reports on number of impressions served. SpotOn will aggregate all these reports and will transfer it to advertiser.
Q.9: Can I choose the publisher where my Ad will be served?
No, since our network is a Blind Network, you would not be able to pick and choose the publisher per say but you can definitely select the category on which you would like to append your Ad.

Q.2: How can I join SpotOn network?

Q.3: Will I be bound legally or otherwise if I signup and join your network?
No, you will not be bound by our network. You can terminate understanding with our network by giving us notice as mentioned in our Agreement.

Can joining SpotOn affect market rates of my inventory?
No, as our network is a blind network, advertiser will never come to know where his Ad is being served. So by selling your remnant inventory through us publisher's pricing in the market will be protected.
Q.5: As I am not profiling my users can I still participate in your network?
Yes. You can still participate and can expect to get campaigns from our network wherein targeting requirements of our advertiser are minimalistic.
Q.6: Will I be paid more per message if I am doing better profiling of my users?
Definitely we can expect more CPMs if we are doing better targeting and enabling advertiser to pin pointedly reach his T.G profile.
Q.7: What are the targeting criteria for ads through your Network?
SpotOn allows targeting in number of ways to increase effectiveness of your campaign. Targeting is done on the basis of location, demography, category and context.
Q.8: What is the revenue model offered by your Network?
We would like to share directly with you our earnings from the Advertiser. Certain revenue models have been finalized by SpotOn and our team will be in touch with you to discuss the revenue model that we have for Publishers
Q.9: How will I get paid through your Network?
Post collection of payment from Advertiser, the Publisher will be paid based on the revenue share model agreed and decided upon with SpotOn.
Q.10: When will get my earnings post completion of the campaign?
Post campaign completion the invoice will be raised to the Advertiser by SpotOn. After collection of payment from the Advertiser, the Publisher will be paid within 30 days.

The MIS details will need to include the following details:
- Campaign Name
- Start Date
- End Date
- Category Selected
- Ad Type (Push / Pull)
- Ad Placement (Header / Footer)
- Number of messages sent
